What is Micro-needling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.
To make this treatment even more fabulous and gain even better results, at The Beauty Spot we will also add one or two of our serums listed below to target specific skin conditions.
Dependent on the serum used will depend on how many and how often you need the treatment.

SERUMS :

TREATMENT PROTOCOL :
Month 1 & 2 - 8 applications in total. Once a week. If results appear before all 8 treatments, protocol can be suspended

Prices of Micro-needling
Each facial costs £50.
Get your 5th treatment for £30 - this can either be an additional monthly treatment, or a maintenance treatment.
Micro-needling Aftercare
It is extremely important you follow all this after care sent to you.
Mirconeedling causes a mechanical micro injury to the skin, which will help it to renew, and aid in improving texture and tone. Your skin will be left looking fresh, good and feeling pink - similar to sunburn.
You may have some areas of "pinpoint bleeding" and this is completely normal.
For the best results you will need multiple sessions of treatment, so be sure to book your next session.
After your appointment :
-Avoid the sun for atleast 48hrs, after this use SPF in your skin care routine, even on cloudy and overcast days to prevent pigmentation. SPF 30 minimum., SPF 50 is ideal.
- Do not combine your treatment with any other professional body treatments during your sessions.
-Avoid excessive heat 48hrs, sauna, steam, heavy workouts
-Avoid using exfoliant , or waxingfor 7 days after your treatment
-Avoid sun beds and strong direct sunlightfor atleast 7 days after your treatment.
-Avoid chlorine for 48 hrs - No perfumed body lotions or skin care for 48hrs
- No makeup for 48hrs
- Do schedule another appointment to provide improved benefits.
After the procedure the skin can be red and flushed in appearance, similar to a moderate sunburn. We do finish the facial with a hydrating and cooling Hydrojelly mask which can help reduce redness, but this can last up to 24 hours in some cases. It is not advised to put anything on the skin until this has completed subsided.
You can experience some skin tightening and possibly mild irritation to the skin afterwards that will demi Noah greatly over the next few hours. Although It is not common, bruising can occurring in some slightly sensitive areas. Peeling and dry skin can be common for up to a week afterwards.
Reasons why you cannot have treatment :
You cannot get the treatment if you suffer with any of the below,
you must cancel your appointment if you have any of these conditions :
- active infections
- viral, bacterial, fungal
- Rashes on treatment area
- Skin cancer
- Skin related autoimmune disorders
- On blood thinners - both prescription and over the counter
- Rosacea
- Recent ablative dermal procedures
- Pregnant or breast feeding
